Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 6 September 2026. Version 1.0. Part of the Terms of Service.

The short version

Use Nixra to create. Do not use it to harm people, break the law, or abuse the platform. Safety filters are always on and cannot be turned off.

You must not use the service to create, upload or share

  1. Any sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises, endangers or exploits children, whether real, generated or stylised. Zero tolerance. We report to the authorities where the law requires.
  2. Intimate images of real people without their consent, including "undressing" edits and sexualised depictions of a real person. In the United Kingdom, creating such an image, or asking for one to be created, is a criminal offence (Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, section 138). A prompt is a request. Attempts are logged and we preserve and disclose records to the police when lawfully required.
  3. Deceptive impersonation. Realistic depictions of real people presented as genuine, in a way likely to deceive, defame, harass, defraud or influence an election. Clearly labelled satire and parody of public figures is permitted; the label must be evident, and items 2, 5 and 6 still apply.
  4. Illegal content or content that facilitates serious harm: instructions for weapons or explosives, terrorism content, incitement to violence, the sale of illegal goods.
  5. Harassment and hate. Content that targets a person or a protected group with abuse, threats or dehumanisation.
  6. Content that infringes others' rights: copyright, trade marks, or the likeness and publicity rights of a person you do not have permission from. When you upload a photograph of a person you confirm you have their permission to use it in this way.
  7. Malware or deceptive technical content, including using media or its metadata to distribute malicious code or phishing material.

You must not abuse the platform

  • Do not try to bypass safety filtering, plan gates, rate limits, quotas or billing, including by tampering with client requests. Server-side controls are authoritative and attempts are logged.
  • No credential sharing, account resale or automated account creation.
  • No scraping, bulk-downloading other people's content, or probing storage URLs.
  • No security testing without written permission. Report vulnerabilities to security@nixra.ai; we welcome good-faith reports.
  • No use that imposes unreasonable load or cost. We enforce concurrency, per-minute and spend limits technically; deliberately circumventing them is a breach.
  • Do not use outputs or the service to build or train a model that competes with the providers that made them, where their terms prohibit it.

Enforcement

A breach can lead to content removal, feature restriction, suspension or termination. For the serious categories (items 1 to 4) that is immediate and without refund. For lesser or accidental breaches we give notice and a chance to respond. We may preserve and disclose content and account records where the law requires.

Reporting

  • Your own results: every generated result has a report control; use it to tell us what went wrong.
  • Anything else: email abuse@nixra.ai with the URL. We review reports within two business days and remove violating content. For intimate imagery of a real person we act within 48 hours. For imagery involving minors we act immediately and report as legally required.
